Une Année Hubbard's Cave Brewery, Barbecue, & Pizza: Discover a Hidden Gem in Niles, IL

A super fun place for a group hangout or for chilling on the back patio. There is a ton of space both inside and outside here. They have a lot of selections of both beer and bbq food, and you can order from your table with the QR code, which is very handy.

Wow, what a hidden gem. This brewpub restaurant is located in an industrial park area right off of Caldwell Ave and you would never know it's there.  I think it's become an iconic brewery, eatery and social place through word of mouth. Their servers and bartenders are phenomenal. They are always smiling and you can tell they enjoy working there.  They've got live music on Sunday and a large outdoor area which is just alive with energy.  On this day I had the ribs and my friends had the steak sandwiches.  Everything was fantastic. Also, I thought their coleslaw was terrific. Their beer selection which they make is out of this world. I usually grab a 4 pack or 6 pack to take home after I eat. One thing I always enjoy with restaurants, especially this one is that you can order flights of different beers that they produce which is terrific so folks can do a taste test with their different brews. However, many times I will pick up a four pack or six pack and bring them home. We were fortunate to have a conversation with one of the owners and the history of the establishment is unique and they are local which is terrific. Great family! Highly recommend going to this establishment. Five stars!

Absolutely loved my time at this local brewery! I had a bit of a drive and am not much of a drinker in general - but they had a ton of non-alcoholic options to enjoy with your meal, as well as a couple of THC options! The other reviews can speak for their awesome variety of alcoholic beverages and flights! The atmosphere was calm as the location itself is very spacious inside. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind and patient when it came to checking on us and answering any of our questions! I absolutely loved being able to pay and order on my phone as you don’t have to worry about splitting the bill afterwards! They also had a list of local breweries they partner with to host beer 5ks - which I thought was adorable as they also help out other local businesses in the area! Definitely stop in to check it out if you haven’t yet!

We had a great meal at Une Année Brewery. The food was solid all around, and the atmosphere was laid-back and fun. Burgers were flavorful and cooked well—juicy without being too messy, and the toppings were fresh and well balanced. The salad was a nice surprise—really fresh and a good size. It worked well as a lighter option alongside everything else. Ribs were the highlight. Super tender and full of flavor, with a smoky, slightly sweet rub. Definitely something we’d get again. Good beer selection too, and the staff was friendly. A great spot if you’re looking for a casual night with good food and drinks.

Hubbards Cave is awesome! Lots of beers on tap and good food. All the ordering is done through a QR code on your phone. Big outside area to eat with many picnic tables and tents. Ordered a bunch of different flights of beer. They have IPA flights, light beer flights, sour beer flights, Stout flights and more. Ordered the chicken sandwich, chicken wings, brisket sliders, french fries, cole slaw, and comes with pickles. I am a big sauce guy and love dipping my food in sauces. I loved seeing on the menu; how they had many different sauces which I ordered them all. I had a great time. If order 4 packs of beer; need to come up at the end to get your order.

Fun local brewery! They also serve tasty barbecue sandwiches like the Chimichurri Steak, Brisket, and the Cave Monster.

Surrounded by industrial buildings, this brewery can easily be missed. The dining area located behind the brewery is even trickier to find. Once found, it is a very nice space with extremely friendly staff. Their BBQ items are quite good. Having said, I so want to love other items and beers but they simply weren’t up to par with other local breweries or BBQ joints. Their side items like coleslaw and elote are particularly disappointing. Having said, I keep returning because of the atmosphere and service. Here’s to hoping improvement in near future.

Great place for beer and food. Glad I went early to beat out the crowd a bit. Recommend the brisket pizza if you’re undecided between the brisket offerings and pizza.
